This cracked me up!!

My shopping day starts off like any other
Till the cashiers see me and say "Oh, Brother"

I scan the aisles looking for deals
With the manager sometimes hot on my heels

It took hours of work to sort and clip
Only to have my teenager say "Mom, your not hip!

I look in vain ~ Where is that Grey Poupon?
I've got an awesome dollar off coupon!

I hit every store in town, looking for that rare find,
Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind!

I get to the checkout with my bulging coupon binder
The other shoppers are surely thinking~ I'm not getting behind 'er!

After hours of shopping, I make it home with my stash
But, hey, it's all good~~I still got most 'my cash!

I'm looking over my receipts~can't believe my good luck
Til I realize~ Oh no, I forgot to use my Extra Care Buck!

$4 Glade Fragrance Coupon

This is clearly STRAIGHT for Cincy Cents but for those of you that don't look there...print these coupons!

Glade has released a new $4 Fragrance Collection Coupon here. This coupon can be printed a total of two times per computer. You'll want to print these quickly, as they disappeared quickly the last time they were available. Once you print these coupons, you have two opportunities to pick these up for FREE:

Walgreens:
- Buy the small Glade Soy Candle priced at $5.99 each
- Use $4/1 printable coupon
- Use $2/1 Walgreens EasySaver Coupon from the April EasySaver booklet
Final price - Free after coupons (remember to hand the cashier your manufacturer's coupons BEFORE the EasySaver coupon in order to prevent any beeps). If you shop at Walgreens today, don't forget to use the 15% off coupon here for even greater savings (overage!).

Target:
- Purchase (2) of the small Glade Soy Candles priced at $5.79 each
- Use (2) $4/1 printable coupons
- Receive a $5 Target gift card when you buy (2) Glade Fragrance Collection Candles
Final price - Free plus overage after coupons and Target gift card. Plus, with the Target gift card deals, you can roll the gift card to repeat the same deal. So, if you have access to more than one computer, you have the potential to snag quite a few free candles.

Other (Better) Websites

Since I'm doing a horrible job keeping this blog up to date I wanted to make sure not to leave anyone high and dry that might want to be doing more. I added a link to one of my favorite blogs (Cincy Cents). She has coupon match ups, freebies, and all kinds of great stuff. That's the site where I got the idea for Week In Review.

But the MOMMA of ALL coupon sites is www.afullcup.com. ANYTHING you want to know about couponing can be found there.

I'm not saying that I'm not going to keep updating TTSAB (Trying to Save a Buck) because as soon as I find a free second I will do so. But for some reason...I'm running shorter on time these days than normal. (Not that I ever have an ABUNDANCE of free time.)

I haven't made a REAL grocery run for over 2 weeks. My stockpile is dwindling.

Check out A Full Cup. It's what I read daily. (okay...it's what I read after Rhylee goes to bed if I'm not too tired myself)

Confessions

I shopped without coupons. I ran into Walmart and picked up about 5 things...didn't look for coupons (they were actually in Rhyan's truck and he was at work) I spent WAAAAY too much money and felt horrible.

There will be no week in review for last week because I went over budget with extra spending for the Easter basket and didn't even take pictures of every grocery purchase.

I haven't even got my lists together for this week because things have been too hectic.

I've neglected this blog...as soon as my kid is feeling better and off my lap for more than 3 minutes...I'll get back on things. That's a promise.

Caregivers Marketplace

I haven't done this myself yet, but I'm researching. If you go to www.caregiversmarketplace.com you will find more information on a rebate program. Basically you print the form and send the receipts for stuff that you bought for free or almost free and get even more money for eligible items. I know Huggies diapers are eligible.

Here's the printable form
http://www.caregiversmarketplace.com/CashBackForm/CashBackForm09.pdf
(I really inserted that on here so I could have easy access myself.)

The Beginning of the Week in Review

CVS
Total OOP=$7.16
But I screwed up and got the wrong "free" Easter grass I think. I've gotta go back and figure out what I did or return the ones I got. The baskets were free after ECBs so I just got those to donate. The diaper deal worked nicely with those Internet print coupons. I found ONE more wipe coupon but if you had 5 wipe coupons it would make the wipes free PLUS you could get $10 in ECBs!
Meijer
Total OOP=$14.65

The $1 off your next order helped me A LOT from the Excedrin deal (I had to split this stuff up into 5 transactions so I could use 1 on each order). The Frenchs mustard is .40 each but I got a $1 CAT off my next order. The Kraft Salad dressing was only .16 (after using $1.50 coupon) and then on the display in the middle aisle there is a $1.00 off produce coupon (although my cashier took off the FULL amount of my broccoli and carrots, which saved me $5.00!!!)

Week In Review

CVS
PAAS Egg Kits-$1.99
Glade Sense and Spray-$5.99
Total (before coupons)
$8.00
-$4.00 Glade coupons
-$1 Glade CRT (cash register tape coupon)
-$5 ECBs (paid for everything plus tax)
TOTAL OOP=$0.00
Got my $5 ECBs back

Meijer=$12.40

CVS
(I had forgot my $2.75 printable coupons for these things the first trip)
TOTAL OOP=.82

Kroger=$9.70

Meijer
Total OOP=$2.12
BUT GOT $4.00 on my next shopping order!!!
Meijer was running this super crazy deal with Excedrin. It was on sale for .99 cents and when you checked out it was printing ANOTHER coupon for $1.00 Excedrin (meaning another box free) PLUS it printed a $1.00 off your next grocery or gas purchase for each box you bought! So, I started out with 2-$2.00 printable coupons (which they took the FULL $4.00 off instead of just the $1.98 that they should have taken off since two boxes only cost $1.98) and then just kept going back and getting another box and "rolling" this deal. I went back tonight to do it again (since the U-scan checkout man finally shut me down earlier in the week) and I used my last coupon and nothing new printed so it looks like the deal is over. BUT I scored 9 boxes of free Excedrin (which I don't use but I am donating to people at school) AND $9.00 off my next grocery or gas purchase!!!

Meijer
Total OOP=.05
(I used one of my $1.00 coupons and did separate transactions to get all of the Excedrin)
TOTAL WEEKLY SPENDING
(i think I'm done for the week)
$25.09
I'm way under budget, however I really didn't get that much stuff. I mostly used from my stockpile because I just didn't feel like shopping this week.
